Пра­виль­ный ответ "It turned out that there were plenty!"  — "Ока­за­лось, что (их) было полно." Слово plenty (много, полно) от­но­сит­ся к преды­ду­ще­му пред­ло­же­нию, к сло­во­со­че­та­нию "find ways"  — "найти спо­со­бы" ис­поль­зо­вать ста­рую одеж­ду в пло­хом со­сто­я­нии. Имен­но этих спо­со­бов и ока­за­лось много. В сле­ду­ю­щем пред­ло­же­нии при­во­дят­ся при­ме­ры этих спо­со­бов ис­поль­зо­вать ста­рую одеж­ду.
